Abstract:

Atelozomyia thalassae gen. et sp. nov. (of the tribe Diachlorini) is described, based on a female collected in Namibia, and now in the collection of the State Museum of Windhoek. The genus is distinguished from Atelozella by the trapezoidal form of the frons and absence of the basal callus.
