Abstract:

Two new species of Tabanus oliviventris group belonging to genus Tabanus were described from China in this paper. The holotypes were collected from following: Tabanus jinhuai from Wuzhishan (27.3[degree]N, 118.2[degree]E, 720-950 m), Hainan; Tabanus tieshengi from Mutuo County (29[degree]N, 95[degree]E, 900 m), Tibet. Total 11 species of the group have been known from China and arranged in the key. Tabanus jinhuai is similar to T. huangshanensis Xu et Wu, terga of abdomen black with white bands at hind margins in jinhuai, but no white bands in huangshanensis. Tabanus tieshengi is near T. parviformus Wang, fore femur brown in T. tieshengi, but black in T. parviformus.
