| Abstract: | A preliminary report is given on tabanids collected from southern China, belonging to the genera Chrysops, Hybomitra, Tabanus and Haematopota (Chrysozona); keys are given to the species in these genera. A total of 45 taxa were found, of which 9 are described from the adults as new species and 2 as new subspecies. |
