| Abstract: | A new repellent, 2-hydroxyethyl cyclohexanecarboxylate, was as much as 20 times as effective as deet against Chrysops atlanticus Pechuman and 1.6 times as effective against C. flavidus Wied. in a series of 4 field tests in Georgia and Florida. Mixtures containing the 2 repellents were always more effective than deet alone. |
