Abstract:

Two new species of Tabanus from Hainan, China were described. The species were deposited in the Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology, Beijing, China. The holotypes were collected from following: Tabanus lingfengi from Diaoluoshan (19[degree]N, 110[degree]E, 400 m); Tabanus parachinensis from Jianfengling (18.7[degree]N, 109[degree]E, 800 m). Tabanus lingfengi sp. nov. ( Fig.1) related to Tabanus pallidepectoratus ( Bigot, 1892), but in Tabanus pallidepectoratus, the legs black with basal half of tibiae white. Tabanus parachinensis sp. nov. (Fig.2) related to Tabanus chinensis Ouchi, 1943, but in Tabanus chinensis, the wings with no dark shadow on anterior margin.
