| Abstract: | A survey targeting tabanid flies was carried out at the Mahale Mountains National Park, Tanzania, East Africa during 1st to 18th November, 2004. A total of 206 individuals of 2 genera and 9species were captured. Haematopota fasciatapex was the predominant species. In the addition to my previous work, 4 genera and 17 species of tabanid flies were listed from the park. The fly fauna was characteristic depending on the forest environment of the park. |
