| Abstract: | The results of the Dutch expedition to the Altai Mountains in south Siberia are presented for the Diptera families Tachinidae, Oestridae and Calliphoridae (genera Calliphora and Protophormia only). 67 species of Tachinidae are recorded, 1 Oestridae and 6 Calliphoridae. The following species of Tachinidae are recorded for Asia for the first time: Ceromyia flaviceps (Ratzeburg, 1844), Graphogaster nigrosquamata Tschorsnig, 1989, Masicera silvatica (Fallen, 1810) and Rondania fasciata (Macquart, 1834); Zeuxia zernyi (Macquart, 1834) for the first time from Siberia. One male Admontia belongs to a new species, but is not formally described. Finally, a note on Hybomitra altaica (Olsufjev, 1937) (Tabanidae) is given |
