| Abstract: | Description of a new species of Fidena Walker (Diptera, Tabanidae) from Brazil. Fidena campolarguense sp. n., female from southern Brazil is described and illustrated. This species is recognized by a long and narrow proboscis and the tergite VI with hair tufts on the right and left sides. |
