| Abstract: | Five new species of Trichogramma from India: T. cone olI uli, T. cuttackensis. T. danausicida, T. hebbalensis, and T. sankarani spp. nov., are described and illustrated. these arrhenotokus species were found to be reproductively isolated from closely resembling known species, cultures of which were available to me, although small numbers of non-viable hybrids were obtained in some crosses. The existence in the antenna of one more ring segment, attached firmly to the base of the funicular region in males and to the first funicle in females, is confirmed here. The relative lengths of fringe setae in the forewing were inversely proportional to the body sizes of the adults. These have been expressed in r-values. A host list, updated to 1987, and a key to 17 of the 18 Indian species of Trichogramma, are included, inclusive of the ubiquitous T. chilonis Ishii, 7: japonicum (Ashmead) and T. semblidis (Aurivillius) also, but not T. brevifringiata Yusuf & Shafee
