| Abstract: | From 1991 to 1994, tabanid captures were carried out in the Nhecolandia subregion of the Pantanal wetland, Mato Grosso do Sul state, Brazil. A checklist and the identification key for the 30 species of Tabanidae collected from this area are presented. Also illustrations of general morphology of Tabanidae and main characters presented in the key are given. |
