Abstract:

Ten genera and 80 species of Tabanidae are known from or are likely to occur in Arkansas, USA. After an introduction discussing faunal studies in Arkansas, the physical setting in that state, and distribution of collection records, this publication gives keys to the genera and to the females of the species of Chrysops, Hybomitra and Tabanus.
