| Abstract: | A total of 1172 valid species and subspecies in 65 genera is listed in this catalogue. Included with each name is its corresponding type locality as given in the original description or ascertained from subsequent study, the known distribution, the collection in which the type (or types) is deposited, and a reference to a figure or other additional aids to identification or understanding of synonymy. Also included are the locations of any paratypes when their repository is recorded as differing from that of the holotype. There are many taxonomic changes, i.e. new synonymies and new combinations. |
