Abstract:

One new species of Atylotus from China was described in this paper. The holotype of Atylotus jianshei sp. nov. was collected front Lijiang, Yunnan (27[degree]N, 100.5[degree]E). Atylotus jianshei is near to A. rusticus (Linnaeus), but the fore fomura black mostly, lateral brown spots of abdomen on tergum II only in A. rusticus; also near to A. quadrifarius (Loew), but the leg grayish yellow to brownish yellow in A. quadrifarius. The types are deposited in the Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology, China. Atylotus sinensis Szilady, 1926 was redescribed.
