Abstract:

Two new tabanid genera closely related to Orgizomyia are described from Madagascar. Tabanocella seyrigi, as Orgizocella seyrigi comb. nov., is proposed as the type species of Orgizocella gen. nov., and Alocella seguyi sp. nov. as the type species of Alocella gen. nov. O. pauliani sp. nov., O. viettei sp. nov. and A. seguyi sp. nov. are described. Keys to the species of Orgizocella and to the genera of the tribe Rhinomyzini are provided.
