| Abstract: | A checklist of the Spanish members of the genus Tabanus is presented, based upon the examination of material held in collections throughout Europe. The individual species are discussed with reference to their geographical distribution, bibliographic citations and the source of the material examined. A list of the sites from which material was originally collected is also presented; this is arranged by province, with each site being assigned a grid reference and a specific reference number. |
