Abstract:

Carbon dioxide increased by 9-fold on average the number of females of Tabanus quinquevittatus collected in canopy traps in south-western Quebec without affecting parity rates, prevalence of sperm and fructose, and stage of terminal follicle development within nulliparous, parous or both groups of females together.
