| Abstract: | New state and county records are given for 4 species of Chrysops and 5 of Hybomitra in New York State; the species concerned include C. sackeni Hine, C. venus Philip, C. zinzalus Philip, H. illota (O. S.), H. lurida (Fall.) and H. zonalis (Kby.). All were found in new counties, and the numbers of females found in 1981-82, collection dates and localities in New York State are given. |
