| Abstract: | Haematopota nasuensis sp.n. is described from the adult female. It was collected at a livestock-breeding station on Honshu I., Japan. Characters are given by which it can be distinguished from H. hikosanensis Hayakawa & Takahasi and H. hakusanensis Togashi, to which it is closely related. A key is given to 9 species that are considered to belong to the group of H. rufipennis Big. in Japan; the new species is included in this group. |
