| Abstract: | Tabanidae (Diptera) from the state of Maranhao, Brazil. III. Description of Philipotabanus (Mimotabanus) henriquesi sp. nov. Philipotabanus (Mimotabanus) henriquesi, sp. nov., is described and illustrated based on 30 females and two mates specimens collected in open vegetation of "Cerrado". in Carolina, Alto Parnaiba and Mirador municipalities, in southern Maranhao state, Brazil. This is the first record of species of the subgenus in Brazil. |
