| Abstract: | A new species of Tabanidae from Puerto Rico, and 4 new species from the Dominican Republic, are described and illustrated. Keys are given to the species definitely recognised from the whole of the island of Hispaniola, the possible identity of 2 other species is discussed, and 2 species of Tabanus are reported from Hispaniola for the first time. |
