| Abstract: | A revision of species hitherto placed in the genus Mycteromyia is presented. It was found necessary to redistribute the flies taxonomically, and full details of the proposed redistribution are given, together with descriptions of a new genus and several new species. The revision involves the establishment of a new tribe (Mycteromyiini). |
